For Founders, Boards & Leadership Teams
The room does the work.
Private Leadership Gatherings & Executive Retreats
Intimate offsites and high-trust retreats for the people whose relationships actually run the company — so the leader can stay in the room instead of running it.
Private leadership offsites and executive retreats
Most gatherings fail for a quiet reason. The agenda is fine. The venue is fine. What is missing is the container — the pacing, the privacy, the small human details that let the right conversation finally happen.
Lavish designs private leadership gatherings for the ten to twenty-five people whose relationships carry the company. Not the two-hundred-person kickoff. Not a team-building package. A carefully held room, built around one question we use for every Lavish experience:
How do you want them to feel?
When that answer is clear, the rest becomes architecture: the place, the hours, the meals, the walks, the white space, the moment no one has to manage because it is already being held.
Who This Is For
This work is for founders, CEOs, boards, and tight leadership teams who already know the real operating system of the company is the relationships inside it.
You will recognize yourself if some version of this is true:
The next gathering has to do more than fill a calendar. It has to change how the room feels.
You want your leaders present — not checking vendors, seating charts, or whether the room is too cold.
Discretion matters as much as design. Internal dynamics stay inside the room.
You would rather invest in a smaller, truer gathering than a larger, louder one.
If you need a national sales kickoff, we are not the firm. That work belongs to a generalist event company. We stay with the people whose relationships actually have to carry what happens after everyone flies home.
What We Hold
Lavish holds the concept, the client relationship, the emotional tone, and the final standard. Local partners hold logistics and the ground. The roles do not collapse — that is how quality stays high and pressure stays low.
A typical gathering includes some combination of:
A clear emotional and relational intention before a single venue is chosen.
Venue and setting selected for how the room will feel — not how it photographs.
Pacing designed with enough air that the important conversation has somewhere to land.
Meals, movement, and quiet details treated as part of the work, not decoration around it.
On-the-ground presence so the leader never has to become the event manager.
A close that sends people home clearer, not just well-fed.
These are not activities strung onto a theme. They are one intention, two or three aligned elements, and breathing room.
What This Is Not
Not a 200-person kickoff.
Not a team-building menu.
Not an off-the-shelf “executive retreat package.”
Not a second, corporate version of Lavish.
It is the same stewardship we bring to a proposal, an anniversary, or a family milestone — applied to the people a leader cannot afford to lose connection with.
How An Engagement Begins
1. A private conversation.
We listen for the tension in the team, the season the company is in, and the feeling you want the room to hold when it is over.
2. Scope.
Together we name size, duration, geography, and how deeply Lavish should be inside the work — design only, side-by-side, or fully orchestrated.
3. Design.
A concept built from first principles. Then one strong local operator to validate it against reality. Then refinement. Then execution.
We do not overbuild. We do not pre-solve imaginary problems. We move one clean step at a time.
Investment
Fees scale with complexity and the depth of orchestration. Venue, travel, and vendor costs sit separately from the Lavish design fee.
For fully orchestrated work, the Lavish design fee is 30% of the managed experience budget. Most Signature gatherings sit in the mid-to-high four figures and above, before third-party costs.
The right number becomes clear once the intention and the room are named. We do not price a feeling we have not yet heard.
Many of these gatherings begin as a single request. They often become something more — a trusted rhythm of care around the people a leader is responsible for, at work and at home.
When the room has been held well once, the next conversation is usually about the rest of the year. That is how most of our longest partnerships begin.

What is a private leadership gathering?
A small offsite or retreat for the 8–25 people whose relationships actually run the company. Not a 200-person kickoff. Not team building.
Do you plan executive offsites nationwide?
Yes. Lavish is based in Wilmington, North Carolina, and designs gatherings wherever the room needs to be. Local operators handle the ground. We hold the concept, the client, and the standard.
How is this different from an event planner?
An event planner produces the day. We design the container so the right conversation can happen — and so the leader can stay in the room instead of running it.
